I was working in my lab when the professor brought her in. As always, I looked forward to working with a new mutant. I was a mutant myself, but one with a rather benign power. My ability was to help other mutants discover their power and use it. I had already become a scientist in the study of bio-chemistry when my power surfaced. I was working in a lab at a university when a girl was brought in who had exhibited some mysterious power.

I lay there trying to figure how to cope with this new body. Then I realized that the throb I was feeling was a full bladder. I pulled the sheet down and saw that someone had dressed me in a cami and shorts that were a little tight. Before the accident, I probably wouldve given myself a hard on. I guess that Logan had been keeping an eye on me from outside, because he came in and said, "where do you think youre going"? I said "to the bathroom", and got up.

Well, now I had to try to make my peace with Wolverine. I told him, "my not telling you who I was had nothing to do with trusting you- I just saw we were becoming friends, and wanted it to be on the basis of who I am, not who my father was". He said, "I guess I can accept that, given the circumstances. But I want you to be honest from now on". I promised I would. We all sat down at the meeting table and Fury said, "okay, guys, we need to get our priorities straight". I said, "youre damned right, so someone tell me how to get my body back. Im sure your SHIELD eggheads have been working on it".

I have had a couple of requests to not just kill off Tanya. When I started this story, I had a basic outline with the beginning and the end in mind, with a lot of room for the characters to take themselves where they wanted in my head. This is a good example of this. I looked in the mirror and saw my old body staring back at me. But, where was Tanya;s body? I turned around and saw something I had thought I would never see again.

At least I now knew the source of my new bodys powers. So, where was I going to find a way to get a huge electrical charge? I dashed back into the house, past my new mom, who said, "Tanya, what the hell is going on?" I told her "mom, stay in the house- youre in terrible danger. I have to do this". I ran up the stairs to my bedroom and into my bathroom. I grabbed my hairdryer and plugged it in and turned it on.

Well, I decided to bring the Avengers in the mix as well. Again, my knowledge of them is limited to having not read them in years. Please bear with me if you are more familiar with them than me. I admit I was very aware of all of the stares I got as Wanda and I went shopping. I was way too aware of how tight the dress I had on was. And, I hadnt spent much time in this body yet, so I didnt know what to expect. At least in Tanyas body, I had her memories.
